A truly rare bird - and we have a pair of them! We have never seen a pair of carved alabaster swans of this magnitude. They are certainly one of a kind. Intricately hand carved from a single piece of alabaster, the detailing of each bird is so special. This graceful duo would make a fabulous addition to your home. They are true conversation pieces.
The larger swan measures 8 1/8" tall by 10" wide and weights 15.6 pounds!
The smaller swan measures 6 1/8" tall by 8" wide and weights 8.1 pounds!
Both in good vintage condition with some minor wear. The larger swan does have an imperfection on its beak. Both have minor chips on the tips of their wings which are not very noticeable. Over all, they are in great shape for their age and the fragile nature of alabaster.
